OK, so the obituaries are now in the classified section. Where is the 'classified' section in the drop-down menu? Why was this information not posted on the web site? Oh, wait, I see it - half-hiding behind the date banner, making it effectively inaccessible. Nice job, guys.

The 2009 Christmas Parade was the best one I've seen a long time.Lots of community involvement.Way to go parade committee!!!
Newspaper Reply It was a great parade. Can't say enough about the work of the volunteers. Also can't say enought about the nice weather. Sunny and 15C is a lot better than the rain and 1C weather that the parade had last year. David Gough Courier Press

We just came from watching an awesome football game in Blenheim. The W.D.S.S. Tartans, however, lost in a tight game 10 - 9. Just hoping that the coverage in the "Wallaceburg" Courier Press isn't as one-sided as the reporting of the game last week. Just a little disappointing. Not one quote from our coach Rob Maclachlan or any indication of who scored our touchdowns or how good our Tartans played (4th place team beam out undefeated 1st place team.)

Why would a Wallaceburg newspaper report on a senior football game where WDSS who is in 4th place, plays UCC in the semi-finals, beats UCC who is undefeated and all you have is a comment from a UCC coach and which of their players scored some their 7 points and have nothing from the WDSS coaches and no mention of who scored any of the 21 points by WDSS. Is this the Chatham Courier Press. Come on.
